If an item you desire is checked out, you may place a reserve (hold) on the item. You will be notified by telephone or email when your item is ready for you to pick up. All reserves must be picked up within four days of notification. Please note that there are no reserves on Popular Picks.
Placing a reserve may be done in one of three ways:
Reserves on library materials may be requested in person at the reference desk. Your library card will be required to reserve an item.
By Phone (Your library card is required.)
Library patrons who have questions or want to place a reserve over the phone can do so by calling the library at 847-634-3650.
Through the Catalog (Your library card is required.)
Library patrons can place a reserve via the library's website by clicking on the My Account tab:
